Arrivals & Departures

FACULTY

We welcome Sherrilyn Roush and Sean Walsh to the faculty in 2017. Professor Roush joins us as a professor of philosophy, moving from King’s College London, where she holds the Peter Sowerby Chair in Philosophy of Medicine. She specializes in epistemology and philosophy of science with an emphasis on medicine. Professor Walsh is moving from the University of California, Irvine. He specializes in the philosophy of math, philosophy of logic, and mathematical logic.

We welcome the new cohort of entering graduate students who joined the program in fall 2017:

STAFF

Arrivals:

Luke Breinig joined the Center for Digital Humanities in July 2017, and serves as the technology analyst for the Department of Philosophy.

Brittany Bolden joined the department in October 2017, moving from the UCLA Community Programs Office, taking the role of Personnel and Payroll Coordinator.

Departures:

Abigail Martinez left in 2017 to take a promotion to Academic and Staff Personnel Manager in the Department of English.
