On Saturday, June 15th, the Philosophy Department celebrated our majors, minors, and PhD graduates with their loved ones at our Commencement Reception and Awards Ceremony.
The afternoon began with a welcome reception, where graduates, their families & friends, professors, TAs, and staff gathered and chatted over some light refreshments and appetizers. Professor and Chair Sherrilyn Roush announced the names of all degree recipients in attendance, highlighted the students who earned departmental honors, and presented departmental awards and prizes.
Class of 2024, you should all be so proud of your achievements during your time at UCLA. We wish you every success in your future endeavors, and we can’t wait to see all the amazing things you’ll do! We encourage you to visit us in Dodd Hall any time.
