Education
- M.A., Philosophy, San Francisco State University
- B.A., Philosophy, Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos
I am a PhD student in the Philosophy department at UCLA. I am mostly interested in philosophical debates at the intersection of the philosophy of mind, epistemology, and the philosophy of science. Currently, questions about our memories and their relation to personal identity, counterfactuals, and imagination are guiding my research.
Before coming to UCLA, I obtained an M.A. from SFSU and ,even before, I got a B.A. from Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos in Peru, where I was born and raised. Aside from philosophy, I enjoy reading literature (particularly Borges, Stendhal, and Ribeyro), going to art museums, playing guitar badly, finding cool political propaganda, listening to Coltrane, playing video games, and taking care of my cat Moz (who makes usual appearances on zoom nowadays).
