Congratulations to David Friedell who has just been appointed as Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Philosophy at the University of British Columbia. David completed his PhD at UCLA in 2014, and his dissertation is entitled “Abstract Artifacts.” He will take up the post at the University of British Columbia in the fall, where he will pursue research on the ontology of art.
