Distinguished Lecturer: Rae Langton, FBA, Knightbridge Professor of Philosophy, University of Cambridge

The Department is pleased to announce that we will be starting a tradition of hosting a distinguished lecturer in Philosophy, either yearly or biennially.  This lecturer will spend a week with us, presenting a public lecture for the university community, a more research-oriented colloquium (with a pre-circulated paper) for the department, and another seminar for faculty and graduate student questions.
