Title: Realism, Race, and Natural Kinds

Abstract: In many publications, Quayshawn Spencer has argued that the race categories used by the Office of Management and Budget (African, European, Asian, Pacific Islander, (Native) American) correspond to biologically real races. The basis of this claim is the genetic clustering found by algorithms mining genomes of current human beings. I argue that this evidence falls short of supporting the conclusion.
