Considering a career in finance or entrepreneurship after earning your philosophy degree? Join us for an interactive workshop with UCLA Philosophy alum Mark Goldfarb.

 

Having spent 25 years at Morgan Stanley as a Senior Vice President before founding Goldfarb Financial Management, Mark will discuss how his philosophical background has influenced his approach to finance and business strategy. Students can ask questions, build connections, and learn tips for how to apply philosophy training to a career in business.

Meet the Speaker

 

Mark Goldfarb, Founder, Goldfarb Financial Management

Mark Goldfarb is a distinguished financial professional and entrepreneur with a strong academic foundation in philosophy. He graduated from UCLA in 1987 with a degree in Philosophy, which has informed his thoughtful and strategic approach to finance. Mark is the founder of Goldfarb Financial Management, a family office based in Beverly Hills. Prior to establishing his own firm, he enjoyed a successful 25-year tenure at Morgan Stanley, serving as Senior Vice President from 1994 to 2019.
