Education
B.A. in Philosophy and Mathematical Economics, Colgate University, 2025
Before UCLA, I studied Mathematical Economics and Philosophy at Colgate University and spent a year working in investment banking in New York City. My primary philosophical interests are consciousness and its contents, including but not limited to the hard problem of consciousness, perception and representation, language, concepts and thought, memory and imagination, and questions of so-called “selfhood”. I enjoy approaching these problems from both empirically informed analytic and phenomenological perspectives. I am also interested in metaphysics, particularly questions concerning time, ontology, and the structure of reality.
When I’m not thinking about philosophy, I enjoy physical activity of most kinds, preferably outdoors and with a competition involved.
