I grew up in Paris and almost failed out of school there. Through a couple lucky twists of fate, I ended up going to college in the US, where I made some great friends and was introduced to jazz. Along the way, I found that I really value the kind of reflection on offer in philosophy departments and decided to get more of that by going to grad school. You can usually find me practicing bass, reading Williams, or pondering the possibility of pure practical reason.
