I’m currently a J.D. Candidate at the University of Chicago Law School. I’m interested in legal philosophy, with a focus on legal positivism, authority, and debates about the methodology of jurisprudence. I also work on Kant’s philosophy, especially on his ethics, his epistemology and philosophy of science and their historical reception, and his conception of philosophy as informed by the place of our capacities in his philosophical method. I’m concerned with how questions about naturalism, philosophical method, and explanation bear on both Kant’s critical philosophy and general jurisprudence. I also love music and playing guitar.
