Area of Interest: Ethics, Social and Political Philosophy, Ancient Philosophy
My philosophical interests stem from a desire to learn how to live and die well with others. To this end, I am interested in questions concerning our moral obligations to others and how we determine who or what to take into account in our moral deliberations. More specifically, I am interested in how the boundaries of our ethical communities determine which bodies we safeguard against violence and which bodies we abandon to violence.
Outside of philosophy, I enjoy rock climbing and learning languages. My favorite Pokémon is Turtwig.
