Logic and Formal Methods in Philosophy
September 28-29, 2020
As part of a series of two-year research cycles, the Philosophy Department will be hosting the Logic and Formal Methods in Philosophy. Featured speakers include Ray Briggs (Stanford), Michael Caie (Toronto), Thomas Icard (Stanford), keynote: Hannes Leitgeb (Munich), and Kai Wehmeier (UC Irvine). A call for papers for contributed talks will be published soon. The event is organized by Ian Boon, David Kaplan, Calvin Normore, Michael Rescorla, and Sean Walsh.
This workshop is made possible through the support of the Kaplan Panzer Philosophy Endowment. A generous gift from Jordan and Christine Kaplan and Ken Panzer, the 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 will be on logic, language, and mind.
